North Atlantic Conglomerate Navy spaceships

From Avalon

The spaceships of the North Atlantic Conglomerate Navy constitute the North Atlantic Conglomerate's primary force. Almost all classes of ships in service are warp-capable, and most warship classes are rated for interstellar warp jumps.

The names of commissioned ships of the North Atlantic Conglomerate Navy all start with CNS, for "Conglomerate Navy Ship". Non-commissioned, primarily civilian-crewed vessels have names that begin with CNV, standing for "Conglomerate Naval Vessel". Medical vessels specifically use CNMV, for "Conglomerate Naval Medical Vessel".

Corvettes

Corvettes are the smallest type of warships at around 120–240 m (394–787 ft) in length. They are lightly armed and usually used for space patrol, supporting large fleets and maintaining orbital barrage. Their Gosfeldt Paraluminal Warp Engines allow them to perform interplanetary jumps, and they house crews of up to 25, with 6–8 gunners on board.

Frigates

Frigates are the second-smallest type of warships, averaging around 300–500 m (984–1,640 ft) in length. They are more heavily armed and more fit for defending stations and small bodies like asteroid colonies or moons. Similar to corvettes, they are equipped with Gosfeldt Paraluminal Warp Engines fit for interplanetary jumps and are manned by a crew of up to 50, including up to 12 gunners.

Destroyers

Destroyers are intermediate-sized warships, measuring around 600–900 m (1,969–2,953 ft) in length. They are fast maneuverable long-endurance warships intended to escort larger vessels in a fleet, convoy or battle group and defend them against smaller powerful short-range attackers. They are most often capable of interstellar warp jumps to aid in their support role.

Cruisers

Cruisers are the second-largest type of warships, usually around 700–1,200 m (2,297–3,937 ft) in length, with heavy cruisers reaching up to 1,400 m (4,593 ft). They are heavily armed but have thinner armor (though armored cruisers exist) and are extremely mobile. The role of the cruiser varies depending on the ship, but often includes orbital defense, station raiding, and bombardment. Their Gosfeldt Paraluminal Warp Engines allow them to make quick interplanetary jumps, and most cruisers can also make interstellar jumps. They have extensive crews of up to 200, including up to 25 gunners. Cruisers can also carry attack craft.

Carriers

Carriers are the largest warships employed by the NAC Navy, reaching lengths of up to 5,000 m (16,404 ft). Their significant size allows them to carry dozens of attack craft and even sometimes corvettes. Multiple carriers are deployed around NAC space and beyond to provide military presence, respond quickly to crises, and participate in joint exercises with allied forces. They are equipped with several Gosfeldt Paraluminal Warp Engines, enabling them to perform interstellar jumps. They are heavily armed for defense and house crews of up to 1,000.
