The Skadaria War (also known as the Second Voivoda War and the Hundred-Day War) was an armed conflict on the planet Voivoda in the EV Lacertae system that lasted from 12 November 2282 to 18 February 2283. It was fought between the forces of the Union of Voivoda and the self-proclaimed Democratic Republic of Skadaria. The conflict ended when the North Atlantic Conglomerate (NAC) intervened by beginning air strikes in February 2283 which resulted in the surrender of Skadaria troops.
Background
Ušće Morače offensive
On 12 November 2282, at around 0600 local time, URJ fighters entered the state of Ušće Morače undetected, having used the nearby Ishëm Valley to stage the operation. By 1000 local time, they had split into two groups headed for the towns of Alabárd and Tihany respectively. There, the armed groups led targeted strikes on military assets such as airstrips, radar towers and barracks.
Concurrently with the attacks, URJ leadership proclaimed the foundation of the Democratic Republic of Skadaria (DRS) and declared that the attacks in Ušće Morače were acts of war.
Events
Shkodëri campaign
Over the month of November 2282, the DRS would take control over most settlements in the Voivodan state of Skadarija, with the exception of the city of Themeli and the village of Ishëm, having lost control of the latter in the days following the Ušće Morače offensive.
Battle of Themeli
Having control over most of the state of Skadarija, the DRS' next target would be the central city of Themeli. The battle began on 4 December 2282, when the DRS fired missiles targeted towards government facilities in the city. The Battle of Themeli would be the longest and deadliest of the war, lasting until after the new year. The city would officially be captured by DRS forces on 15 January 2283.
On 18 January 2283, three days after the capture of Themeli, the NAC declared that it would send troops to support the Union of Voivoda.
Siege of Firebase Slobodan
Firebase Slobodan was a forward military base set up by the Voivodan Military on 20 November 2282 outside the village of Ishëm. It was used to maintain an active presence in the state of Skadarija and stage further military operations. On 22 January 2283, DRS forces began a siege on Firebase Slobodan in order to cripple the Voivodan Military's main supply line. As the base was about to fall into Skadarian hands, the NAC support fleet arrived on Voivoda on 1 February 2283. By 4 February 2283, DRS forces had been pushed out of the area.
NAC bombing
On 4 February 2283, immediately after regaining control of Firebase Slobodan, the NAC began an extensive aerial bombing campaign over the state of Skadarija. The air strikes continued until an agreement was reached to the DRS' surrender. The Ankica Agreement was subsequently signed, officially putting an end to the war. The DRS was disestablished in favor of the Autonomous State of Skadaria, an autonomous state under Voivodan control. The region was also demilitarized and placed under NAC military administration: the Interim Administration in Skadarija (Serbo-Croatian: Привремена Администрација на Скадарији/Privremena Administracija na Skadariji; PAS).
