The North Atlantic Conglomerate (NAC) is a union of 17 planets and satellites spanning over 13 systems. Founded during World War III from the ashes of NATO, it is now one of the four main powers in the Orion Arm.

The NAC is subdivided into 28 planetary states, which are defined as being autonomous astropolitical entities governing areas on single celestial bodies. Their purpose is to handle matters pertaining to and represent the people of said celestial bodies. They form their own governments and act with a certain degree of internal autonomy for internal affairs. These 28 planetary states are located on over 26 planets and moons spread across 13 star systems.
Constituent nations
The constituent nations of the NAC are a variety of nation states descended from the old countries of Earth. Their function is now mostly ceremonial, as most matters of administration are handled by planetary states or the central NAC government.
