Philadelphia is the third planet in the Stronghold system. Its close proximity to the Providence system makes it a valuable asset to interstellar trade within the North Atlantic Conglomerate. Philadelphia was colonized as part of the Beyond colonial mission, first settled by the colonists of the Beyond 8 spaceship in 2165.

Etymology

Philadelphia is named after the US city of the same name. The name is Greek for "brotherly love", derived from the Ancient Greek terms φίλος (beloved, dear) and ἀδελφός (brother, brotherly).
