The 2243–44 Sidewinder conflict was a military conflict that culminated in a blockade around the planet of Sidewinder in the Antioch system. It was started by forces of the terrorist organisation known as The Veil conducting raids around the Antioch system and finally attacking Sidewinder. A first fleet was dispatched by the North Atlantic Conglomerate but was harshly defeated by the Veil. A second fleet was later sent, which managed to force the remaining Veil forces to retreat.
