On 22 January 2283, DRS forces began a siege on Firebase Slobodan in order to cripple the Voivodan Military's main supply line. As the base was about to fall into Skadarian hands, the NAC support fleet arrived on Voivoda on 1 February 2283. By 4 February 2283, DRS forces had been pushed out of the area.

			On 4 February 2283, immediately after regaining control of Firebase Slobodan, the NAC began an extensive aerial bombing campaign over the state of Skadarija. The DRS was disestablished in favor of the [[Autonomous State of Skadaria]], an autonomous state under Voivodan control.
