The '''Battle of Gliese 1061''' (July 12 – September 30 2294) was a major battle on the [[Great Orion War#Solar sector front (June–December 2294)|Solar sector front]] of the [[Great Orion War]] where the [[Technocratic State of Argentina]] unsuccessfully fought the [[North Atlantic Conglomerate]] in an attempt to defend its assets in the [[Gliese 1061 system]]. The TSA had previously set up [[Tercer Ojo base]] as a forward base of operations just outside of NAC space, hoping to use it as a launchpad for a full-scale invasion. This was however thwarted after NAC intelligence detected [[Warp drive technology|warp signatures]] going to and from the uninhabited Gliese 1061 system.

The battle was characterized by orbital confrontations at various points of the Gliese 1061 system, as well as a full planetary invasion of Gliese 1061 d. The siege of Tercer Ojo base and its surroundings lasted for two months, only falling after the outbreak of the [[Battle of Earth]] demanded support from both sides and the base became too inconvenient to support.
